This year, I have made some changes to my classroom. Our classroom library set up in a new way so students can access books a little easier. As we get more books throughout the year, I will continue to organize, sort, and move books around into different bins. Here is a picture of what our classroom library looks like right now. Any ideas on how we can make it even better?
I also wanted to create a new reading area in our classroom. This space will be different from when we practice our word work and phonics lessons. We will use our new reading area for literature discussions and comprehension groups. Now we have a fun and cozy place to sit back and talk about books. It kind of reminds me of a living room or bedroom. See! Reading isn't just for schools and only at tables or desks. We can even read in fun places like comfy chairs!
